Good Morning My Lovelies,

How's the sun sizzle on your skins doing?  Hope you are taking care of yourselves just fine so that you stay lovelies ;)

Well, today I shall take you to Villa Apap Bologna, Attard, my second PINK burst and as the invite has down right pat:  "A sparkling afternoon to toast the beginning of summer at our fantastical fairground!"

This invitation was courtesy of Ms. Marisa Grima ( Stylist and Image Consultant). Here is where I thank her for an absolutely delightful mid to late afternoon stray into the setting rays. I would like also to thank  Ms. Marija Schranz (Marketing and Events for Pink Magazine).

The flagstones over which the models had to tread could not be rushed which is why they were so careful to negotiate it with practiced finesse.  Practically all had floreal delights surrounding their orbs catching the mood graciously.

Anybody familiar with the villa knows about the sumptuous grounds and I could let go relaxing on the cushions strewn over the grass paying serious attention to two of my greatest loves in life:  Great food and great drink. ;-)

These PINK occasions are very well crafted on every front and an accolade must surely be paid to all the people behind the scenes who succeeded yet again to offer an incredibly beautiful experience that flowed faultlessly throughout.

Times of Malta - Pink Fashion Show

I

Hello lovelies !!

So happy that I managed to go to the 1st ever Times of Malta - Pink Fashion Show last night. Enjoyed the evening by my hubby's side.  Loved the Autumn-Winter Collections.  Great inspiration for this up coming Christmas season.  We were offered a light welcome drink on entering the hangar.  All was at the Aviation Museum, Ta' Qali, Malta with great natural lightning striking as a backdrop but so far off that one could see it snaking all over the horizon and hear no thunder.  Inside it was pumped and not just the stilettos.  Catwalk was lit reminiscent of a runway because it cut a straight borderline lit course through vintage warrior planes.  Lovely gift packages were on every chair for all those invited.  Evening show went off with a siren evocative of  war years of yore until the whine faded into a contemporary beat.

Then the girls came on.  Statuesque to say the least.  But these were in motion sending waves through the veritable crowd.  The best were moody but a couple sported a lilting smile.  They cat-walked rather well and most of them.  They had presence and the lips were done just right, courtesy am pretty well sure of one Mr. Carmel Vella, a past master of the final touch.

To top it all off and round it all up after the bevy of beauties came a parade of mouth-watering appetizers to win any man's heart (which old adage has it is through his stomach) washed down by some prime reds and whites amid animated conversations all around.

There's no word for the fun I had.  It was so good in fact that if Ms. Marisa Grima throws another one of the sort, he's going to be back.  That is saying something: Believe me!!! :)

For my outfit details wearing Zara coat, sling bag, shoes, necklace and Mango Pants, Stradivarius shirt.
